The book, published by Fraglich Publishing, is a retrospective about the work of Twana Abdullah, Kurdish photographer who documented the reality of Iraq's Kurdistan during 20 years.

Twana's Box collect a huge body of photographies created between 1974 and 1992, year in which was killed. The archive was saved by Twana's family and brought to Torino by our great friend and photographer Rawsht Twana, which in the last 10 years worked on the archive of his father, scanning, selecting, editing and making this amazing work come to light.

The project is supported by the Directorate-General for Contemporary Creativity of the Italian Ministry of Culture under the Italian Council program (2023).
